How are you, my dear, truly dear people.
I myself am good.
Quite embarrassed as I realized I can no longer finish a pizza by myself – all them stupid diets have ruined my appetite.
I used to be the girl who did the secret trip to the fridge in the middle of the night… Now, I am just …weak.
Anywho, let’s move on to the “Calling”. The title, as per usual, came to me through the delight of music, mostly referred to as Spotify – if you’re not extra, then you’re not extra. I only recently gave Wonderful Wonderful by The Killers a listen and dayum. So, the “Calling” is a song by The Killers, from their newest work.
And, today, we’ll once more be playing with diversity. 2 things were the heart, around which I wanted to plan my outfit.
And so, we’re looking at my boots and trousers.
As you can easily tell, I’m wearing wide suit trousers – they were part of a co-ord. I’ve wanted one of these for a while but didn’t want to go straight to black, even if it’s the classic you’ll always need. And these are just the perfect shade. Also, I thought trying to pair these with anything other than their own mate would be a good challenge and that’s what we’ll be working on as of today.
So, to take it from the top (pun intended HOW FUNNY am I), I wanted to show you guys that you don’t always have to overdress wearing such trousers. I went for the usual turtleneck cause it’s chic and I didn’t have to try much. Also, I’m usually pretty damn cold so.
Of course, you can have a more casual approach with a t-shirt and it would look stunning.
As mentioned above, I didn’t want to go overboard but still wanted to keep it classy, so I went for silver and kind of plain jewelry – I’m wearing matching bracelets, a ring and a pair of small hoops.
To be fair, you could wear these with about anything – high heels, sneakers, pointed stiletto ankle boots, kitten heels, even your Dr Martens (I’d love to see that).
As for the shoes, these are so last season.
I mean it. It’s something I rarely state – whether I’m wearing an older or fresh pair, but these I wanted ever since I spotted them online at H&M. I didn’t think I’d find them as they were limited edition and sizes and kind of forgot about them. I found them a while ago in store, in my own size at some crazy price. They’re premium and used to be €120-130 but I got them at €15. F*CKING €15.
You know, I like how I’ve lately been mentioning where I wore this and where you could, too – this very outfit I wore at lunch and it would also be hella fine for anything work related or even dinner at your parents’.
