Back when I saw this top I thought, “darn cute!!!!! alright, come to mama” and then I kept it stashed for months because I kept wearing the same things for a while. I couldn’t see myself skipping the basic jeans and a top with this bustier. Which can also be cool, but I wanted something fresh. I reworked the bustier, shewed some buttons on it (yeah, some means 10) and suddenly it made sense.
Reworking stuff has been my go-to tool ever since high school. If I were a guy, I’d be the annoying, handy one, who always brags about fixing things and about how being able to do so, is necessary to build a home. Tasty!
Anyway, this skirt has been my savior ever since I first wore it. Asymmetrical lines can make a midi skirt look a lot hotter than a classic one. And so, as I thought layering would be the only choice, I threw the top over a rounded-sleeved shirt, paired the whole thing with the kind of shoe I’ve been loving mostly for the last two seasons and a trench coat.
Voila! Skip the jeans and beat the heat (in which case you should skip the trench coat step as well, but you already know that).
