Back when I saw this top I thought, “darn cute!!!!! alright, come to mama” and then I kept it stashed for months because I kept wearing the same things for a while. I couldn’t see myself skipping the basic jeans and a top with this bustier. Which can also be cool, but I wanted something fresh. I reworked the bustier, shewed some buttons on it (yeah, some means 10) and suddenly it made sense.
So, lately I’ve been crazy over anything paired with Levi’s 501 jeans. I don’t know what has gotten into me, but I love the baggy fit of an awkwardly oversized pair of high-waisted jeans, especially when they’re of straight fit. This is an alternate way to rock your Levi’s, other than a tee or a shirt and some sneakers, like I usually do. This look is actually pretty plain and not anything special, but it should take you from day to night really nicely.
I’m so glad it’s almost mid October. Rumor has it it’s finally time for actual outerwear…
This also happens to be the ideal time to step out with a trench coat. That’s because trench coats are just like avocados; “not today, not today, not today, not today, TODAY, oops too late”. Meaning they’re usually too lightweight to be worn in winter but also a bit too heavy to be worn in early autumn or even late spring.
