The Art that is Zimmermann (Ready-to-Wear AW18/19)

Pure yet not unadulterated romance is a description that seems to match Zimmermann for the season AW18/19.

Considering the SS18 ready-to-wear collection completely consisted of flowers and cute crochet, all infused with a relaxed western attitude, the essence of this collection was pretty much expected.

Natural dusky shades, lots of pink, cream, beige and camel, all complete perfectly this calm and feminine story of Zimmermann’s. Each piece stands multidimensionally; pretty much everything consists of singular pleats folding onto each other, giving the tops and dresses a beautiful volumized effect. Satin and leather makes things like this happen like magic. Waists get embraced by vintage-like leather corset belts and belt bags, intensifying the female figure, so as to match the whole scenery. Western and knee-high loose boots are nothing to be missing of such an approach – what else would be more ideal that pushing romantic layers alongside the “rough” look of a pair of western boots? This has been a go-to trend for the year past anyway, and it seems like it has come to stay.
