Sunday morning coffee – first cup only – and I’m serving it with an infamous alternative to wearing your favorite floral dress.
I have recently started trying to get rid of binge eating, but how will I ever get rid of binge vintage-shopping?
Today, as mentioned above, I’m presenting you with a good old alternative for an everyday ride. On “Devil wears Prada” we hear Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly ironically state “florals for Spring? Groundbreaking” and up till now I keep wondering, how regressive it is to wear florals in Spring? Is it just another boring and safe “tradition” or is it an all-times-forever must?
I decided to put theory into action and went for my favorite alternative; layering. Throwing your dress over jeans is a great way to break your pattern of wearing it. Mixing prints is a second extra fine alternative you could opt for. Check prints have been all over the place and I’ve really been into blending them with other prints such as polka dots or florals. And what better a choice than the so-called nova check by Burberry?
I dug this one out of a girl’s Depop, my latest bff app, and I’ve been rocking it nonstop ever since. I pair the look with some vintage white pointy heels and I’m good to go!
